On her appointment Lisa said “I am delighted to be joining Durham Kenya at such a key point in its growth. The opening of Key Stage 2 is an exciting milestone building on from the flourishing pre-prep school and I am incredibly excited to be part of this next stage of development. I am looking forward to returning to Nairobi and cannot wait to become part of the Durham community”.
Mrs Sue Small, Headteacher of Durham Kenya, commented “Lisa is a passionate educator and leader who absolutely shares the Durham educational ethos and values. Durham Kenya’s reputation for first rate education and pastoral care is now well established in Nairobi and as we open our Key Stage 2 in September 2023, I very much look forward to working with Lisa to ensure that we continue to deliver an exceptional educational experience to each individual student”.
Outside the classroom, Lisa is a keen runner and cyclist. She is married to Marcus and has a daughter at St Andrews University in Scotland and a son writing A Levels this year in the UK.
We welcome Lisa to the Durham International family and to Durham Kenya.
