Mr Jim Habershon

Lead Humanities Teacher, Senior School

Jim brings 15 years of teaching the Humanities curriculum up to GCSE, A-Level and IB, both in the UK and East Africa, having graduated with a BSc in Physical Geography from the University of Birmingham and the University of California in Santa Barbara.  Jim’s career in education has included four years as a Teacher of Geography, History and Politics in London, four years in Addis Ababa as Head of Lower School and a Teacher of History, and most recently as a Head of Geography in Sussex.  Jim is a champion of out of classroom enrichment, with experience of running the Duke of Edinburgh Award, academic clubs and both local and international residentials and he looks forward to bringing these experiences to Durham International School.
