Athena brings over 13 years of teaching experience in Primary and Preparatory schools, including nine years in international settings across the Philippines, the Netherlands, and Kenya. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Anthropology, a PGCE from Brunel University London, and a Master’s in Education from the University of Hertfordshire. Athena has held leadership roles such as Head of Wellbeing, Head of Mathematics, and Head of Year, and she is committed to holistic, student-led learning that fosters problem-solving skills and global citizenship, empowering students to realise they can make a difference. A passionate advocate for mental health, mindfulness, and positive education, she has also spoken at the Asian Development Bank and the British Embassy on the importance of mindfulness for young people.
